Craftify ships a small set of operator functions for server setup and staff use. All of
these require permission to run /function (operator level), so they're safe from regular
players.
Gamerule Setup
Run once to apply the server's preferred ruleset:
/function craftify:setup
It applies:
| Gamerule / setting | Value |
|---|---|
difficulty | normal |
command_block_output | false |
log_admin_commands | true |
advance_time | true |
fire_spread_radius_around_player | 0 |
advance_weather | true |
players_sleeping_percentage | 0 |
respawn_radius | 0 |
keep_inventory | false |
random_tick_speed | 3 |
send_command_feedback | true |
limited_crafting | false |
spawn_mobs | true |
These use the 26.2 gamerule names. Minecraft 1.21.11 / 26.2 renamed every gamerule to
snake_case — for example doDaylightCycle → advance_time, doMobSpawning →
spawn_mobs, and announceAdvancements → show_advancement_messages. The old
doFireTick boolean was replaced by the integer fire_spread_radius_around_player
(0 disables fire spread around players).
setup is not run automatically on load — run it yourself so you stay in control of
your world's rules. Adjust any of these afterwards with normal /gamerule commands.
Load Behaviour
The craftify:load function runs automatically whenever the pack loads (via the
minecraft:load function tag). Its only job is to re-apply chunk force-loading for
every registered warp point so warps keep working after a restart. See
Warp System for details.
Containment Box
The Ban tag holds a player in a containment box and releases them safely when removed.
This is documented under Gameplay Mechanics → Containment Box.
Advancement Clear (Staff)
The craftify:moderation/advancement_clear_* functions are a staff-only utility used to
bulk-grant the vanilla advancement trees and tune a player's waypoint attributes. The
sequence is:
craftify:moderation/advancement_clear_0— turns off advancement announcements, then schedules steps 1 and 2.craftify:moderation/advancement_clear_1— grants theadventure, husbandry, story, end, andnetheradvancement roots, and sets the player'swaypoint_transmit_range/waypoint_receive_rangeattributes.craftify:moderation/advancement_clear_2— turns advancement announcements back on.
These functions currently target specific named staff accounts written into the files. If you fork Craftify for your own server, update those player names before use.
