Troubleshooting & FAQ

The pack won't load / shows "incompatible"

Craftify targets Minecraft 26.2 and declares min_format [107, 1] / max_format 107 in pack.mcmeta. If you load it on an older version, Minecraft reports an incompatible pack format and won't enable it.

  • Fix: Run it on 26.2, or adjust pack.mcmeta to match your version (note that recipe, loot-table, and text-component formats also changed across versions, so an older target may need content changes too).

Check it's enabled with:

/datapack list

file/Craftify should appear under the enabled packs.

Custom recipes don't appear in the recipe book

  • Make sure the pack is enabled (/datapack list) and you've run /reload.
  • Recipes unlock through advancements — some only appear once you obtain the relevant ingredient. Try picking up the ingredient, or check the recipe book's "craftable" filter.
  • Confirm doLimitedCrafting isn't blocking unlocked recipes unexpectedly (Craftify's setup leaves it false).

Warps stop working after a restart

Warps are force-loaded from world storage on load by craftify:load. If a warp stopped working:

  • Confirm the pack is still enabled after the restart.
  • Re-run /reload so craftify:load fires again.
  • If the warp's marker was removed or its chunk deleted, re-create the warp with the Warp Tools book (see Warp System).

"That warp point already exists"

Each warp key (colour or named slot) can only hold one warp point at a time. Remove the existing one first (Remove Warp Point → CONFIRM) before creating a new one for that key.

"There are no Warp Points close to you"

Locate and remove only act on warps within 64 blocks. Move closer to the warp, or use Locate → Nearest / Random to find one.

Forever Young / Forever Old doesn't work

  • The name tag must be renamed in an anvil to exactly one of the accepted names (Forever Young / Forever Old, in any case or spacing variant).
  • You must use the name tag on the animal (right-click the entity with it).
  • It targets baby animals near the interaction; make sure you're close to the target.

The welcome kit / diamond notice fired more than once (or not at all)

These use self-revoking advancements, so they should fire once per player. If one didn't fire, confirm the pack was enabled before the player triggered it (e.g. before their first join, or before they first picked up diamonds). Players who triggered the condition while the pack was disabled won't retroactively receive it.

A scheduled staff function didn't run

The craftify:moderation/advancement_clear_* functions target specific named accounts. If you forked the pack, update those names to match your server's staff (see Moderation & Admin).
