Permissions
RallyPoint has three permission nodes, all defaulting to op.
| Node | Grants | Default |
|---|---|---|
rally.use | Perform rallies, cancel them, return the crowd, view the roster and history. | op |
rally.admin | Manage waypoints, control stage mode, and exemption from stage mode. | op |
rally.reload | Reload the configuration and waypoint list. | op |
The player commands (optin, optout, status, catchup, help) are deliberately not gated behind any node. Every player can control whether they are teleported.
Suggested setups
Just a host
Give the person running the event all three:
rally.use
rally.admin
rally.reload
Host plus a producer
A second person who can move the crowd but should not be reshaping the route:
| Role | Nodes |
|---|---|
| Host | rally.use, rally.admin, rally.reload |
| Producer / co-host | rally.use |
rally.use alone is enough to run /rally here, /rally go, /rally cancel, and /rally return, so a co-host can take over between stops without being able to delete waypoints or leave the crowd stuck in stage mode.
Everyone else
No nodes required. Players only need to be able to run /rally optin.
Stage mode exemption
Anyone with rally.admin is skipped when stage mode is applied, so hosts keep their own game mode and stay free to fly the shot. This is checked at the moment stage mode holds a player, so granting rally.admin mid-event exempts them from the next hold, not the current one.
If your host is being put into spectator mode along with the crowd, they are missing rally.admin.
