Losing a fight shouldn’t mean losing everything
Ascendra turns frustrating, gear-wiping deaths into a fair second chance. Items and XP are held safely until the player makes it back — protected from other players, explosions, and the environment along the way.
Lossless Item Capture
Inventory, armour, and offhand are all stored in the grave. Normal drops are suppressed, so nothing scatters or despawns.
XP Preserved
Keep all of a player’s experience, a configurable percentage, or none at all — your server, your rules.
Grave Protection
Graves stay owner-only for a configurable window, with optional killer access and admin bypass.
Void & Lava Safety
Die over the void, water, or lava and Ascendra builds a temporary platform so your gear is always reachable.
Recovery Compass
Players get a managed compass that points straight to their grave and tidies itself up once they arrive.
Anti-Duplication
Graves lock while open and active state is tracked, closing the door on classic item-dupe exploits.
From death to recovery in four steps
A player dies
Their full inventory and XP are captured the instant they fall — even in the void or a lava lake.
A grave appears
Ascendra places a protected grave at a safe spot near the death location, with an optional hologram label.
They find their way back
Death coordinates and a recovery compass guide the player straight back to the grave.
Items restored
Opening the grave returns everything — to exact slots or compacted into free space, your choice.
Optional integrations
Ascendra works fully on its own, and lights up extra features when these soft dependencies are present.
- DecentHolograms — floating labels above each grave showing the owner, time remaining, and status. Disabled automatically when not installed.
- GriefDefender — claim-aware placement that can keep graves from spawning inside protected claims, falling back to vanilla drops when blocked.
